A Hero is a special unit as they always lead a squad. There can only be one Hero per squad, however multiple Heroes may be on the battle line at one time if there are multiple squads in the match. Heroes are generally stronger than normal Troops and often have Abilities. Consequently, they also have very long deployment times.
Special properties[]
Heroes determine the makeup of their squad. The selection of a Hero determines the number of Troops, Artifacts and Spells that go in to their squad. In the squad creation screen, slots for Artifacts and Spells are assigned to the left and right of the Hero respectively.
Heroes can only ever command a total of 6 Troops, Artifacts or Spells in their squad.
